Provenance Woven Wood Shades

Fabric selections include 22 unique styles in variet of natural finished from amterials found in nature including:
Bamboo, reeds, slats, grasses, bark


Fabric opacities range from sheer to opaque. A flat fabric is available which attaches to the back of the woven wood, operating in unison with the shade. A micropleat fabric is also available operates independantly from shade. This is mounted behind it and is white on both sides.


Styles:
Roman shade: standard, hangs flat when fully lowered and gentle folds when raised. This comes with a 6.5" valance.
Classic: fabric cascades off the front of the heafrail with no valance. Functions the same as a standard Roman shade.
Hobbled: has gentle folds even when fully lowered adding extra depth and texture.

The quality construction of the woven wood shades provide 100% polyester five-ply yarns which minimize stretching, breaking and fading. Each pattern uses multplie yarns for added strength. The fabric is made to minimize natural twisting and bowing. Metal split rings attach to a minimum of two yarns for strength and an innnovative cording system reduces access to lift cords for enhances child safety.

R-Value:
Fabrics alone: 4.10-4.32 depending on weave
Fabric with liner: 4.65-4.81 depending on opacity


Uv protection from fabric only is between 52 and 96%. With the darkening liner, the shades protect from UV rays by 99%.

The woven wood shade can be ordered with either a standard cordlock operating system or a clutch system.

Elegance of Silhoutte Shadings

The modern Silhouette shade by Hunter Douglas provides 12 fabrics with 240 choices. Vane sizes vary from 2, 3 and 4 inches and can be chosen in translucent or light dimming opacity. You can choose from a few colors for your front sheer while the back sheer is always white. The top of your vanes will carry your color choice, while the bottom of them are always white to face the street.


Silhouette shadings help reduce heat/cold loss and heat/cold gain, will lower your utility bills and save valuable resources. If you are concerned with the R-value here are the following measurements for closed positions:
Translucent vane: 4.02 m²·K/W
Sunscreen vane: 4.00 m²·K/W
Light dimming vane: 4.05 m²·K/W

Regarding UV protection, vanes closed block 99% of harmful rays while open they block 88%.

The Silhoutte shade can be operated through Hunter Douglas' EasyRise cord loop system with widths up to 120". Optional upgrades include: UltraGlide (retractable pull cord stars at constant length for child safety), Tilt-Only/Tilt-Only-Low-Profile Shading (shade does not raise, cord loop opens and closes vanes, magnetic hold-down brackets are furnished to secure shading), Top-Down/Bottom-Up w/ TiltAnywhere (exclusive fabric, vanes rotate when shade is partially raised or lowered. Widths up to 72"). And lastly, of course, the PowerRise 2.0 system complete with handheld remote for widths up to 120".
